Forumnet S.p.A. is a company of the Cabassi Group and was established in 1990 with the building of Forum in Assago. It is a leader in Italy in the management of multi-functional arenas. The are venues managed, either directly or indirectly through subsidiary companies, by Forumnet S.p.A. are: Mediolanum Forum in Assago (Milan) from 1990 PalaLottomatica in Rome from 2001 Allianz Teatro in Assago (Milan) from 2003 Pala Livorno in Livorno from 2004.

All Forumnet S.p.A. structures are constructed as flexible spaces for different types of events. They are ideal venues for organizing mega events such as concerts, exhibitions, sports events, congresses and conventions with a seating capacity of up to 13, 000. Further, the group manages the following service companies that complete the range of services offered to the customer. Forumnet S.p.A. is a company of the Cabassi Group and is a leader network in Italian multi-functional arenas management. It came into existence in 1990 with the building of the Forum in Assago, as SGM S.r.l. and during the last few years, the company has acquired new structures in Italy. Its experience in this field has lead to the formation of a network, aimed at hosting and organizing concerts, sports events, exhibitions, congresses and conventions. Established in 1990, Mediolanum Forum in Assago (Milan) is a large structure with a covered area of more than 40,000 sq m. Including 20,000 sq m. of multi-purpose gym and an arena with a capacity of 11,500 spectators. It has won the most prestigious European Award of Architecture for sports arenas given by CONI and the Council of Europe. PalaLottomatica, in Rome came under the control of the group in 2000. It was designed in 1956 by Arch. Pierluigi Nervi for the 1960 Olympic games, and has been declared a national monument. In December 2000 Forumnet Group S.p.A., through a tender, received permission to carry out a complete restoration of the building and has sole management for 12 years. The structure, now completely renewed, will be re-opened in September, 2003 and is the greatest structure for events in Rome. Allianz Teatro was established in March, 2003 as part of the complex of Mediolanum Forum and is the first Italian theatre to be created and built exclusively for musicals. It was designed to offer a high level of comfort and services on a covered surface of 5,500 sq m. and it seats 1,730 people. The Forumnet group will manage the Livorno arena, that will be inaugurated at the beginning of 2004. Mediolanum Forum and PalaLottomatica are the only two arenas in Italy that are part of the "European Arenas Association" (EAA), which includes the most important European Arenas (e.g. Bercy Paris, Wembley London, Olympiahalle Monaco, Palau St. Jordi Barcelona, Globe Stockholm, etc.). Since 2000, Forumnet S.p.A. has been enriched by the addition of new competences, improving the type of services rendered to the public and event organizors in its venues. Today Forumnet S.p.A. includes the following service companies: ForumNet S.p.A. is a company dealing with the research of sponsors/partners for the arenas, managed by the Group, and for the events organized in its structures. Ticketweb is the company specializing in ticket sales both on and off -line. Food Network is a catering company established from a cooperation with SSP/Compass Group.
